Kayaking
Kekova is a long, thin island stretching across the villages of Üçağız (Teimiussa) and Kale (Simena). Having one of the cleanest seas not only in Antalya but in the whole Mediterranean world, Kekova and its surroundings owe this cleanliness to being taken under protection. The northern shores of Kekova Island (Kekova Adası) overlooking Simena are full of traces of the civilization that was partially submerged in the earthquakes in ancient times, such as stone stairs, house ruins, pier ruins, and half in the water, half of which extend to the depths of 4-5 meters in the sea. You can take a boat tour from Çayağzı (Andriake) or rejuvenate in the warm springs of Çayağzı, which are said to contain healing minerals.
Kayaking in the calm waters of Kekova Island is the best way to visit the old cities and villages of the region. The natural beauty and sheltered waters of the area guarantee a delightful experience for both the complete beginner and the experienced kayaker. No previous kayaking experience is needed – you just need some spirit for adventure and reasonable fitness.
Also, the lovely, narrow streets of Kaş, covered in flowers, invite you to take pictures and relax.
